The COVID-19 pandemic was something that nobody saw coming. Since the virus spread, many lives have been affected. It did not matter whether you live in the city or the countryside. A lot of businesses were closed, which cost people their jobs. Not everybody has enough savings or an alternative business opportunity to get through this pandemic. As such, in this time, a lot of people rely on the government to supply their day-to-day needs. However, the aid received from the government can only do as much.
A lot of companies and individuals have extended a helping hand by conducting various relief efforts. One of them is Alec Martin, a promising young Jamaican entrepreneur from Far Rockaway, New York. At his young age, Alec is already a successful entrepreneur, making him one of the young thriving entrepreneurs under 30. He is the USA’s own Astyle Alive.
With his success, he believes that it is only right to give back to the community. During this pandemic, Alec has already donated thousands of dollars to aid relief efforts fighting the battle against COVID-19. Also, he supports child cancer patients from Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Aside from donation and relief efforts, Alec also finds ways to alleviate the economy through viable work during this traumatic time. He believes in empowering other people to find their strengths and explore new ways to do business. He believes that people helping other people is vital to protect our economy.
Alec is a visionary and a risk-taker. During his early days, he has already involved himself in various business opportunities. He knew that he wanted to achieve a lot and become successful at a young age.
As early as high school, Alec exposed himself in the field of marketing through promotional work for club venues. He takes after his father, who is also a dentist and businessman, who taught him the skills he needed to become who he is today. He became an entrepreneur at 18 when he expanded his business by utilizing his skills in designing shirts and hoodies for various artists, paving the way for Astyle Alive. Four years after, Alec founded One Umbrella Enterprise, his own real estate, and construction business, where he focused on the process called “fix and flip.” Alec further proved his skills and talent when he helped consumers remove over 1 million dollars in debt through his credit repair company, Credit Is A Must. Moving forward, Alec is making his way through the health and wellness industry. In Summer 2020, he is to open his CBD company, Tranquil Store – CBD (Cannabidiol).
